"The San Francisco Experiment"

5x7  oil on panel

Life is about the journey, not the destination.

Painting takes focus and concentration.
This is what happens when you have neither...
But I am glad to have been reminded of why I paint.

Hi Tracie, nice work, love to ride my bike down from the top of the hill.

Well, if you can do this with little concentration, I am just floored. I think it is wonderful!

Mark: with your arms up in the air!! But look out for power lines... :)

Autumn Leaves: Thank you! Sometimes I get caught up in wanting to produce something "great" and I can lose sight of why I paint in the first place... I paint because I love to paint and if people like it, well, than that is just a bonus! :)

Great job on this very challenging assignment! I completely skipped it. Using the purple for the road and keeping the buildings simple really helps make sense of that original reference. I love the way you consolidated areas of color to make the composition more cohesive. Very nice!
